The Ancient Astronauts are Tom Strauch and Ingo Möll from the Switchstance Recordings label, based in Moers at the lower Rhine in Germany. These two very versatile DJs and producers are well-known for setting every dancefloor on fire while letting the crowd’s hips shake joyously. Tom and Ingo never fail to stun with their colourful selection of danceable pearls from Raw Funk, Afro, Hip Hop, Reggae and modern Dopebeats. The label itself is famous in the international club and boardsports circles for its extremely funky productions as well as the dynamic sets of its DJ Collective. Renowned boardsport contests such as Air&Style/AUT, King Of The Lake/I, Etnies European Bowl Masters/AUT, Roxy Chicken Jam/CH, Burton European Open/CH and many more have experienced the unique and typical styles of Switchstance, while the likes of Quantic, Fort Knox Five, LTJ Bukem, Soulpatrol, Mr. Scruff or Kid Loco have long become fans of the label and its music.
