Bonobo
a warm and delicate water , a cradle, jumping in the air!
The Keeper is the new single from Bonobo’s on Ninja Tune Records. Created with simplicity under the visual direction of Steve Glashier, the elegant video for the new track plays off the smooth tones of the music, soft lighting of each setting and careful signatures of backgrounds that segue so effortlessly. The Keeper features the appearance and sultry r&b vocals of the recently added and talented future Ninja Tune label mate, Andreya Triana. Over the summer, Bonobo and Andreya have been collaborating together as members of a complete full touring band. After each of their expected album releases this fall, both will be back on tour and performing once again all across the world.

BONOBO: Komplex und feinsinnig. Einfach fabelhaft.

Before Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festiwal 2012
Fri, 10 Feb 2012 20:00:00
VENUE: Fabryka Trzciny ul. Otwocka 14, Warszawa, Poland 03-759
Tuż po nich scenę opanuje utalentowany duet z Cardiff – Man Without Country, których zeszłoroczna, debiutancka płyta Foe zdobyła sporą rzeszę zwolenników, przyciągając z jednej strony fanów depresyjnych kompozycji My Bloody Valentine, z drugiej zaś tych, którzy uwielbiają głębokie, syntezatorowe brzmienia.

Bonobo returns to SF for another one of his notorious dj sets! It goes without saying he's one of the most original and exciting DJ/Producers on the planet right now and after an incredible live tour last year, he's back again for this exclusive DJ set. Simon Green set about building his DJ style in the same way he produces refreshingly original music, refusing to conform to the preconceived ideas of a laid back style, and aiming headlong for the dancefloor, with a heavy mixture of hip hop, weighty jazz, broken beats, Latin, funk, and soul, with the occasional cheeky bit of psyche rock and drum and bass thrown in. Just to keep you on yer toes right? Now a DJ of international repute, Bonobo has played all over the world, and recently played to huge audiences across the US and Europe with his live band. This progress culminated in Ninja Tune asking him to put together a Solid Steel mix album. Bugger the lounge, lets dance. The release of Black Sands last year catapulted Bonobo into the spotlight once again, receiving rave reviews from everyone from BBC, URB, Fader, Resident Advisor, and more. But it's his DJ sets that make you want to bounce on the floor all night, you just can't resist!

It’s been twelve long years since Bonobo’s debut Animal Magic pulled heartstrings across the globe and since then Simon Green has developed his emotive brand of electronica in to one of the world’s most captivating live electronic bands. Now, for the very first time, he’s bringing the whole six piece experience including vocalist Andreya Triana to Australia for select shows in March 2012.
Recognising Green’s immense talent, the impeccable Ninja Tune label snapped up Bonobo for the world, following up his debut with Dial M For Monkey, which enjoyed similar success and introduced many musical tourists to the producer, as tracks from it were picked by countless chill-out compilations. Three years later Days To Come was voted ‘Album of the Year’ by listeners of Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide program on BBC Radio 1, it was also one of the biggest selling titles on the label in Australia for 2006.
In 2009, those unlucky enough not to have caught the Bonobo live experience were treated to the Live At Koko DVD, which was followed up by one of last year’s highlight albums Black Sands. Choosing chanteuse Andreya Triana as his weapon of choice, Bonobo took a slightly darker edge on the album, joining the likes of producers like Floating Points who make beautiful soulful electronic music that engage a listen as much as they do entice a dancefloor.
Finally Australian fans, who have been waiting over a decade for this live soul and folk-tronic experience, can enjoy the Bonobo live experience as Simon Green and band come to Australia to play two headline shows and two festival appearances. Regularly selling out large venues across the UK, it’s now our turn to find out why. Do not miss this incredible tour.

Bonobo’s label Ninja Tune have just announced details of Black Sands Remixed, an album featuring reworks of Bonobo’s last record by the likes of Mark Pritchard, Floating Points, Machine Drum, Cosmin TRG and more of the world’s most cutting edge future electronic producers. Black Sands Remixed will be released 13th February, 2012.
