Hiss Golden Messenger features M.C. Taylor and Scott Hirsh from The Court & Spark who disbanded in 2007, and takes off from there and stretches out into the improv-rock territory of Traffic and the Grateful Dead. They self-released the album Country Hai East Cotton in 2009. The album is available from the Heaven & Earth Magic Shop.
