Some have called the Romanian artist of Greek-Armenian origin a triple-pronged threat: an award-winning actress, a beguiling dancer and a powerful singer. After a successful career in a Romanian rock band, Rona Hartner came to international prominence thanks to Gadjo Dilo. This feature-length film by French Rom director Tony Gatlif pushed her into the European limelight. It sparked off a long and creative exchange with artists of all hue, especially in France where she settled. In 2005 Hartner began a promising musical exchange with the talented French DJ Click.
