James Rutledge (ex Pedro) and Chris Walmsley (Voice of The Seven Woods, ex Broadcast) are set to release their first single 'Two Wires’ from their new album The Pattern Prism.
Within 30 seconds you’re transported to a noisy landscape of buzzing, bangs and art-electro ambience that shouldn’t work, but plays out almost perfectly for what it is. With all manner of elements thrown in, this should, on paper be a messy clash of defunct sounds that prove barely audible, but instead of throwing too much in at once, everything is built up into a bold and beautiful piece of music that deserves to be recognised. Sounding almost futuristic, 'Two Wires’ crosses between being relaxing and exciting, but blends both into a sumptuous bed of synthetic dreams. An excellent piece of music.
