THE WHIP
Free EP ‘The Whip Live at Leeds’ with every ticket purchased!
The Whip is an electronic rock band from Manchester formed in 2006. After releasing several singles on hip record label Kitsuné the band released their debut album ‘X Marks Destination’ through Southern Fried Records in 2008. With a critically acclaimed album and an ever rising profile the band were commissioned to do remixes for high-profile acts such as Editors, Hadouken! and The Courteeners.
Their new album ‘Wired Together’ is the culmination of the past six months that the trio has spent in the studio with producer Jagz Kooner . The new album still retains The Whip’s ability to set pulses racing with pounding rhythms and fluid, dance floor friendly beats but broadens the band’s palate to introduce a more celebratory vibe fused with a more lyrical version of the band’s dance music.
"Wired Together has the flow of a night out. The band work their way through the gears – the album grows, tempos rise and tracks build momentum until the final dreamy comedown." - Planet Notion

THE GOOD NATURED
The Good Natured, recently signed to Regal / Parlophone Records, offer a catchy Gothic twist on Electro-Pop with their new EP entitled 'Skeleton'. The band have already been making a name for themselves with their previous EPs ; 'Be My Animal', 'Your Body Is A Machine' and their cover of Sufjan Stevens 'For The Widows In Paradise; For The Fatherless In Ypsilanti'. These have helped their popularity on music blogs so much that they were in the top 10 most searched acts on Hypemachine last December. The band have also received strong support from Nick Grimshaw, Huw Stephens and Jo Whiley on Radio One amongst others on Radio One, plus XFM and 6 Music.
"A compelling new talent” -The Sunday Times
"A talented and passionate force to be reckoned with" - The Fly
"This is how pop should be done" - Time Out

GLASS ROBOTS
Glass Robots are an indie electro anomaly, the brainchild of vocalist PS Stait and producer/musician Numan Paul, with CDR on drums for the live shows.
Their all devouring mélange of reverb shrouded trance synths, new wave word play, and ultra modern electronica, cascades into an enigmatic collection of dance floor screamers and pop noir songs.
